It’s been a long ten years but it’s been worth the wait to finally see Bodasius get the recognition he has earned! He can hold his own with the big boys of the breed as far as production goes. He had five sons sell in our 39th Brylor Bull Sale to average $7500 and a daughter top our “Tradition With A Vision” ‘09 sale at $15,500. WSP in Michigan sold a 1/2 of one at $6900 and Get-A-Long topped the ‘09 Spring Classic sale with one at $8000.
Bodasius, himself, was a $6000 half interest bull in 2001 to Derek and Carmen Abraham at ALC in Innisfail, AB. They, along with Trent Abraham, built their programs around him. Bodasius has for his dam Brylor’s signature cow, “40X”. She grossed over $300,000 in live cattle sales in her career.
79K has such sisters as 815J, 66K, 58J, 19J, 55J, 36J, 2E, 63J, 10J, and 215L. Perhaps his best daughter, though, is 706P, the dam to the invincible Olivia 2T ($56,700 to WSF). 706P is now one of Brylor’s best donor cows.
