Here’s a new bull fresh from our southern neighbors that will surely draw some attention...
as he did mine! Besides having a superb pedigree and a unique name, he was a standout at
Hawkeye West last fall during the NILE National Show. He has amazing length of body, lots of
depth and hip to him and he’s loaded with performance.
His sire, Grand Canyon, was a $50,000 U.S. bull at Leachmans’ ‘98 sale. His dam, Reba’s
Robin also raised the $180,000 Major League, the $64,000 heifer calf at NILE two years ago,
and this past fall a $17,500 heifer calf.
Now what really caught my eye were two quotes in the January issue of the “American Red
Angus Association” Magazine:
Seth Leachman - “The best bull at Glacier Red Angus since Logan, and possibly the best bull to
come out of the Glacier Program.”
Harold Hughes - “Cougar is not just another Grand Canyon son... he’s special. Like Chateau
was a special King Rob son.”
