No longer on the market and with semen in very short supply, we still get lots of requests to let a few straws go here and there. We have taken a firm stand and
have refused all requests. The last ten straws sold to Weldon Plett in Manitoba for
$255/straw last fall. The summer of 2001 was good for Sandstone through his progeny - Supreme Grand Champion Bull at Swift Current, SK, was Stallion 19J who was also Reserve Senior Champion at the Calgary Stampede Stock Show. The Grand Champion Female at Swift Current and Calgary had a Sandstone heifer calf at side. And you may recall the fall of 2000, the Grand Champion Female at Agribition was a two year old with a Sandstone heifer calf at side.
